Getting Back to Business

It's hard to believe but ...  the end is nearly in sight!  We have all collectively done so well to work as a team of 5 million to overcome the Covid-19 virus and while we are by no means there yet, it seems we are well on the way to being able to get on with life.

This has been such a precious time for me and my family, it's been wonderful having our daughter back from university and everyone house-bound.  We miss seeing our friends and family in the flesh, but we have found other ways to socialise and stay in touch, we've been experimental in the kitchen, made time to exercise, read books, watched shows together and enjoyed the rather glorious weather that we've been blessed with.

I hope that we can all cherish this newer, slower pace of life and try to incorporate more of it as we move down the lower Levels, and that life doesn't not ever get quite so frantic again.

Since the announcement of the movement next Tuesday to Level 3, we have been busy with getting the store ready to despatch your lovely purchases.  We have been developing safe procedures in terms of the operational mechanics and I am confident that we have our own, and your, safety top of mind as we move ahead.

Our team will be in-store between 12-3 Monday to Friday to despatch orders, manage Click & Collect and to take any phone orders (09-419 9535).  You'll understand that we can't let anyone in-store so all orders need to be paid for via the website or over the phone before collection.

Our couriers have advised that their network will be under some pressure as they not only deal with an avalanche of online orders to despatch around the country but as they maintain social distancing in their workplace.  We will be doing our best to get your orders out to you asap but there may be some delays.  I would advise you to order early for Mother's Day delivery.

Our beautiful Mother's Day collection will be released next week, featuring new brands and exciting new pieces.  Unfortunately, we will still be operating under Level 3 restrictions in the lead-up to Mother's Day but we will be able to get your orders either couriered out to you, or you can collect from us with our Click & Collect facility - plus if you live locally, you can even have them delivered to your door by my daughter!  Keep an eye out for Avery in our cravehome merch!

How's the home fragrance holding up?  We've been going through the candles this end, and I can't wait to top up supplies!  Our faves Ashley & Co have a beautiful collection of candles, home perfume, handwash and soothers, as well as the divine Bench Press and In Sink - these are our absolute go-to guys for kitchen cleanliness!  And remember, wash those hands for 20 seconds!
