Luxe Lockdown Essentials

As luck would have it, on the day before the lockdown kicked in, our beautiful collection of Stella + Gemma winter tees and sweatshirts was sent from the warehouse to us.  Unfortunately, we weren't able to take delivery of it, so everything is in storage until this whole gig is over.

Happily, we are now taking pre-orders for this fabulous range.  I already have my eye on several of the tees, and can't go past the Black White Rose Sweater.  I think this is Stella + Gemma's best collection yet, I hope you do too!  We will despatch all orders just as soon as we are able to open our doors again, so hop online and order yours here.

As you'd expect, everything is beautifully made - the attention to detail is second to none!  In addition to the striking design on the front, there is also a little rear hip action going on.  We adore this Stella + Gemma range!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter - here's a pic of the cake I made for our family cake competition - it's a Nigella recipe and it's pretty heavy on the chocolate, but if you want a showstopper dessert, look no further! 

You can easily substitute the little eggs for some fresh fruit, or chocolate slivers.  It's seriously good.  Here's the recipe x

A little project that I've been working on while at home, has been creating photo books from our holidays for the last few years.  Most of these photos have been on my phone, and I've been worried that I'd lose them before I did anything with them.  A friend told me about this awesome service, where you can create your own books and have them printed. 

I'm now finally up-to-date and have despatched another four books off to be printed.  This is not a paid promotion, but I cannot rate Kroma highly enough.  The quality is fantastic, the process is very easy and the turnaround time very quick.  Next I'm planning to digitise all our old photo albums ...

I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to most when we're allowed out .... but I think getting a beautiful manicure like this is pretty close to the top of the list!  Along with heading to our nearest local restaurant and enjoying a meal out - as nice as it's been cooking every night ...  They're saying lots of little businesses are unlikely to re-open, so I urge you to shop local and help kickstart your community when you get the opportunity.
