Hitting it out of the park, again and again. This time last year we were all locked up and going crazy for loungewear. Fast forward 12 months and think chunky knits, pleated skirts, cool caps and warm scarves.
Leopard skirt available now, these sweatshirts are due later next month.
These block colour pleated skirts feature a comfy elastacised waist and permanent pleating. The fabric is a vegan leather and looks great on all body shapes. Our other pleated skirt is a lighterweight leopard print with a feature gold lurex waistband. These skirts are available in two sizes: S-M and M-L. Layer with a slouchy sweater and sneakers and you're good to go.
The perfect chunky knit cardy - it can be worn upside down as well if you want more coverage - it features a moss stitch for the body of the cardy, with long rib cuffs and a knit shawl collar. Available in one size and four beautiful colours: petrel, sand, bronze and khaki. Like the pants? These are coming next month too.
All the finishing touches to take your outfit to the next level. We are really loving the fedoras - and the caps are perfect for that casual cool aesthetic. Wrap up in a cosy knit scarf and change out your bag strap.
These scarves are soooo soft and dreamy.
ReCreate Clothing is sustainably made in Cambodia, giving village women employment and helping to keep communities thriving. These beautiful organic pieces feature beautiful detailing - think softly gathered sleeves, pleats and vents at the back of a garment, structured collars and timeless design. I took a few pieces home for a play, and have made a wee shopping list for myself!
I love these autumn days - the promise of colder days to come, layers to wrap up in and crockpot aromas to fill the house. It's hard to believe that it's been 12 months since lockdown and while the world hasn't returned to normal, we are fortunate in New Zealand to be living a regular life.
I've nearly finished the Seven Sisters series, and have been laughing up a storm with Schitt's Creek. And, so happy to have discovered that Season 3 of Drive to Survive about last year's Formula One season has just dropped on Netflix. Even if you're not a racing fan, it's a fascinating look at the personalities and politics behind the scenes, especially with Covid and the BLM movement.
If you're around Birkenhead this Sunday, wander into our beautiful Village and enjoy some of the local Latin Fiesta - there are dancers, activities for children, great food and it all ties in with the Auckland Night Markets, on again this Sunday from 4pm. Click here for more info.
Roll on Easter (and the end of daylight saving), have a good week, Jude x
