    WHAT I'M READING ...

Happily, I'm still finding (or making) time to read, now that I'm back at work all week.  After reading American Dirt, where I was looking over my shoulder throughout the whole book, I needed something less stressful.  These two reads have been great!

I recently finished Normal People by Sally Rooney, which is about two people exploring their relationship as they move through their teens and twenties.  It's really sensitively written and I really loved it - I'm looking forward to watching the BBC adaptation of it.

I'm nearly halfway through An American Marriage by Tayari Jones.  This is set in the American South and dissects the relationship between a husband and a wife after he has spent five years in jail for a crime he didn't commit.  Great reading so far.

Have a great week everyone, the numbers are still amazing, we're all doing such a great job!  I'm looking forward to seeing a bit more of this beautiful country of ours later on this year - look out Hawkes Bay and Wellington!

    Take care, Jude x
